East Midlands Airport (EMA) has strengthened its position as a leading UK cargo hub with the arrival of Chinese freight operator SF Express. The carrier has commenced operations between Ezhou Huahu International Airport (EHU) in China and EMA, representing the sixth new cargo airline to establish services at the Midlands facility within a six-month period.
This latest addition emphasises the growing demand for air freight connectivity between the UK and China, whilst reinforcing East Midlands Airport’s strategic importance in global supply chains. The new route offers enhanced capacity for businesses requiring efficient freight forwarding solutions between these key markets.
