A new sea freight route bypassing the EU mainland is ‘up and running.’
The sea freight route connecting Morocco and the United Kingdom has dramatically reduced transport time between the two countries, improving trade links and even benefiting the environment;it has also been praised for ensuring greater freshness of products traded between the two countries.

Following the United Kingdom’s official exit from the European Union, trade between Britain and Morocco has increased.
Exports of goods from the UK to Morocco increased by 27.3 percent in the year to October 2021.
