The Governor of Minnesota is in the United Kingdom leading a trade mission to the U.K. and Finland.
The mission is focussing on increasing state exports, promoting Minnesota as a premier destination for business investment, developing new business opportunities, and strengthening existing ties.
He is encouraging business leaders in Europe to explore Minnesota to grow their operations as part of the state’s Build What Matters campaign.
The Commissioner of the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development, said “The U.K. is our 8th market for exports, and we believe the time is right to open even more doors for Minnesota’s exporters, including those at the cutting edge of technology in the medical sector, and those addressing the realities of climate change.”
