It appears that demand for container freight will remain at very high levels throughout the Chinese Lunar New Year, celebrated on and around 12 February.
Freight rates from North Asia to the UK will remain at all-time highs as volume rise, while shipping lines have reduced fleets due to the pandemic.

Importers are re-filling depleted warehouses and equipment shortages continue so demand remains high.

Production and exports in China are increasing, in order to make up for the idle months at the start of the year when the pandemic.
