Singapore and France have announced in a joint statement that they will co-operate to ensure the supply chains for essential food and agricultural freight remain operational during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Minister of Agriculture and Food of France and the Minister for Trade and Industry of Singapore aim to make sure that transport and delivery links remain open, including air and sea freight, to facilitate the flow of essential goods.

They intend to facilitate contacts between the food companies, importers, and distributors of their two countries. The Ministers will work with relevant service providers of air and sea freight.
