China is beginning to recover from the Covid-19 outbreak, and is now making import enquiries purchase for exports of black-tea shipments from India.  The Indian trade is concerned about the spread of the virus at home, which may disrupt production and arrivals of tea crops for auctions.

Import enquiries have started coming in over the past few days. China usually imports second flush black teas for which they start negotiating at this time of year.
