The Freight Transport Association, the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Federation of Small Businesses are requesting the Mayor of London to appoint a dedicated Freight Commissioner.
The Mayor’s Freight Action Plan, released on 7 March 2019 needs political leadership to ensure his freight policies, according to these business groups.
They think that the freight policies should be implemented consistently across London’s 33 boroughs.
