The U.S. Commerce Department said that it had made an initial finding that imports of certain steel wheels from China were being dumped in the U.S. market. The Department has set preliminary antidumping duties on the products.
The department had previously found the imports were being unfairly subsidised. They now say that they are being dumped at a margin of 231.7 percent. U.S. border officials have been instructed to collect cash deposits at that rate.
