A major freight carrier has launched a weekly less-than-container-load service from Duisburg to Wuhan.
The first door-to-door LCL consolidation container shipment from Duisburg took 26 days to cover the 10 550 km, which included 18 days by rail.
‘The consolidation container service offers our customers the chance to increase their supply chains’ efficiency owing to savings in cost and time’, said the Managing Director of the company. Sea freight transport takes over 45 days from Duisburg Port to the Port of Wuhan’.
