The Saudi Food and Drug Authority lifted last week the temporary ban on the import of frozen and processed guava imports from Egypt to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The authorities will only accept imports from facilities accredited by the SFDA, reported the Saudi Press Agency.
The decision came after a commitment of the regulatory body in Egypt to the conditions and requirements for the export of manufactured vegetables and fruits to Saudi Arabia.
The SFDA decided on the temporary import ban in January.
