The new edition of the British International Freight Association’s (BIFA) Standard Trading Conditions (STC) will be published on 1st October 2017. The terms were last revised in 2005. There has been an extensive review of the existing STC by the BIFA Legal and Insurance Policy Group, with advice from solicitors who have significant experience of the freight and logistics industry.
The current BIFA STC are still effective and well-balanced, but the updated version will give members and their customers some helpful amendments and clarifications, says the trade association for UK freight forwarding and logistics companies.
