A new rail freight service, we can now transport containers all the way from China, through Russia and Belarus, to Sweden by rail. Previously, the freight was unloaded in Karpin, just outside Warsaw in Poland, before being forwardewd by road to the final destination. ON the new service, the containers are unloaded in Hamburg in Germany and reloaded onto rail waggons for forwarding to Scandinavia and a new hub in Hallsberg, Sweden. The lead time from Hamburg to Hallsberg is only a few days.
This currently is only available for Full Container Loads. ating the possibilities to send LCL (Less than Container Load) as well.
