Freight traffic between the EU and Russia is under threat.

After an agreement allowing Polish trucks to ship cargo to and from Russia expired at the end of January, Polish freight vehicles are now banned from crossing the border.

Negotiations to extend permits continue – but any delay could impose huge financial burdens on freight haulage companies.
