A pork slaughtering facility in Forssa, Finland, has been approved for export to China. This is viewed as a major achievement in the company’s strategy to expand its international sales. The company is also keen to export other meat products, including poultry, processed meat and convenience foods.
Russia had previously been a major export market for the company, so the the opening of a new opportunity in China is an important development.
