Export activity from China may maintain a steady rebound in the coming months, as the country is faced with several favorable factors, an official said on Tuesday.

Shen Danyang, spokesman for the Ministry of Commerce (MOC), told the press that factors bolstering exports include recovering global demand, domestic support policies and rising confidence among Chinese export companies.

China’s exports rose 7 percent compared with last year to 195 billion U.S. dollars in May, following a 0.9-percent increase in April and sharp declines in March and February, customs data showed.
