The annual Women in Logistics Awards, now in their third year, will again be paired with a Charity Ball. The money raised will be donated to the transport charity Transaid.
The events are preceded by the Women in Logistics Annual Conference. Together they make up the flagship event for the women’s group which strives to shatter the glass ceiling which has traditionally been a part of the industry’s culture.
The annual conference theme is ‘Supply Chain Simplicity in a Complex World’ and there will be two headline speakers, Emile Naus, former Head of Logistics Strategy at M&S, who will share his perspective on the latest developments in omnichannel logistics, and Janet Godsell, Professor of Supply Chain and Operations at Warwick University, who will discuss the end to end supply chain.
The 2014 Conference begins at 9:30 for 10 on Friday June 27 and will be in Leamington Spa, whilst in the evening delegates and their guests will enjoy the Annual Awards & Charity Ball held at the Chesford Grange Hotel, Kenilworth.
