SLOVENIAN Railways (SŽ) saw a strong recovery in freight traffic last year according to the company’s annual figures, which show volumes increased by 9% to 17.6 million tonnes.
Freight performance rose by 10% year-on-year to 3.89 billion net tonne-km as SŽ recorded growth in both domestic and international traffic.
