The freight service of the national rail operator of France will be affected by a 36 hour national strike beginning this evening. The strike will begin at 7 pm and will cause the operator, SNCF, to considerably reduce freight train schedules.They are recommending that customers postpone planned cargo movements for the period of the strike.
