More than 200 pieces of gold and ancient artefacts have been transported from Columbia in South America to London by air freight. The objects will appear in an autumn exhibition at the British Museum called Beyond El Dorado. The airline worked with a specialist art movement logistics company to handle and transport the precious cargo from Bogota, to London.
Some items, which needed to be kept upright, were hand carried by on-board couriers, while the other artwork was protected by special protective cases.
