An intersecting rail freight service from Calais to an existing rail motorway in Luxembourg is scheduled for early in 2015.  The current rail motorway runs from Luxembourg to Le Bolou near Perpignan at the foot of the Pyrenees. The French government is committed to re-launch rail freight and piggybacking.
