When Alberta airport wanted to find out what exporting challenges the city face, it asked the International Freight forwarders Association, Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters and the Canadian Association of Importers and Exporters. There was also a series of focus groups with executive’s from the exporting and shipping community, which helped to show that airport cargo capacity was a critical component of growth.
