A new cargo terminal at Grimsby has received its first ship. The terminal is designed for auto freight, and has capacity to admit vessels carrying up to 3 000 vehicles. Before this, specialist car-carrying ships had to use the Alexandra Dock which limited ship size to a maximum of 800 cars.
