A new air freight service has been launched to connect Europe to Central Asia. Consumer spending has risen sharply in many Asian countries, stimulating the import of luxury branded goods from Europe. The service is concentrating on moving high value goods from France and Italy to Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan. Kazakhstan pays for its growth with exports of oil, which are expected to reach 3.5 million barrels per day in 2015.
