An academic from a Gothenburg University has won an international logistics award worth 10 000 euros. His dissertation ‘Urban freight transport sustainability. The interaction of urban freight and intermodal transport’, discusses how rail freight and road freight can be integrated to minimise the impact of transport in towns and densely populated regions. Th award was presented at the transport and logistics trade fair in Munich.
