Two European ro-ro operators are co-operating to offer a sea highway for freight moving between Spain and the UK. They are hoping to attract viable volumes of unaccompanied trailer, driver-accompanied trucks and containers. The service is based on twice weekly shipping services between Spain and Zeebrugge; this will connect with daily sailings linking Zeebrugge with Teesport, Hull and Tilbury.
