A leading manufacturer of food products is moving production of its noodles from China to the UK, which will create up to 50 jobs when the factory is opened in Yorkshire later this year.

The factory in Hunslet, near Leeds, will  produce foods which were  previously made in two Chinese factories; one in Guangzhou province, inland from Hong Kong, and one in Hangzhou, inland from Shanghai.

Production companies are increasingly finding that costs in China are no longer as favourable as they were. Returning manufacturing to the UK should help to redress the unfavourable balance between exports and imports.
