The Rail Freight group said it was disappointed at the conclusions of the Office of the Rail Regulator on track access charges.  These charges will apply to freight traffic in the next regulatory control period.  The RFG says that this will cause freight costs to rise, especially for the coal and steel sectors. RFG fears that excessive charges will force freight traffic back on the road.
