A new container freight station in Kerala, India, is the first to serve the new International Container Transshipment terminal in Kochi. The facility has warehousing and container storage facilities, and a separate are for customs authorities to inspect cargo on wheels. This should reduce the transaction costs for imports and exports and help strengthen trade.
