The first of a new series of courses designed by the Rail Freight Group and the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport has just been completed.  The one day course is for freight buyers who view the rail sector as too complex or costly but want to further investigate moving cargo by rail.

The course was started because the RFG and CILT identified the need to inform transport buyers of the benefits of rail transport.  People perceive rail freight to be very complex and the course is designed to de-mystify it and explain some of the jargon which often bedevils discussion of the sector.

The next course will be held later this year.
