- A named place of destination must be specified
- DDP can be used for any type of transport
- Seller contracts for the carriage of goods to the buyer
- Seller also contracts for the import customs clearance
- Buyer is responsible for the goods after they have arrived at the named place and been import customs cleared
Under DDP the Seller pays the freight charges to the named place of destination and the export and import customs clearance.
