Russian Railways has expressed its desire to assume complete authority over the railway network in the Far East region. The Russian company aims to optimise operations and enhance efficiency by having full control over the infrastructure in this strategic location.

This could potentially impact rail freight transport in the area, as Russian Railways seeks to streamline processes and improve service quality.
