A huge ‘logistics pool’ has been established north of Paris, including many major suppliers to retailers. According to the owners, the hub ensure efficiencies as as all lorry loads are full loads, ensuring efficient use of fuel and more frequent cargo deliveries to the distribution warehouses. The pool generates freight to the equivalent of a million pallets annually.
