A recent report by industry analyst Transport Intelligence shows that the global freight forwarding market grew by 3.1% in 2012. This growth was based entirely on by the sea freight sector, as airfreight volumes declined by 4.2%.  However, the sea freight market is still vulnerable to long term overcapacity.
