A new cargo centre facility at Berlin Brandenburg Airport will start working on 1 August.  The new airport serving the German capital for both passengers and freight, should have opened early in 2012, but has been affected by delays and mishaps. The opening of the cargo centre will relieve congestion of the freight facilities at the old Tegel airport.
