The rail freight service from China to Poland crosses Kazakhstan, Russia and Belarus, during its 10 000 km journey, where freight containers can be unloaded.  It reaches its final destination in 14 – 15 days.  The departure point at Chengdu is a major centre of car manufacturing, and also has a cluster of IT and electronics firms. At Lodz, in Poland, the train arrives at a major logistics distribution hub.
