A high tech company in California is developing a network of unmanned quadcopters designed to carry small amounts of freight to regions without roads.  These robotic vehicles will fly food, medicine and other essentials to villages seasonally stranded by stormy weather and low quality roads. There are many problems to be overcome, but the company is already carrying out trials in the Dominican Republic.
