The Department of Engineering at the University of Cambridge has established a Centre for Sustainable Road Freight Transports. Opening at the end of last year, the Centre’s overall aims are; to research the sustainability of road freight transport, to develop technical and operational solutions to road freight transport challenges, and to develop tactics and strategies to meet Government emissions reduction targets for the road freight sector.
