The Transport Workers Union of Sweden has given final notice of industrial action to the employers’ association.  From tomorrow, freight forwarding traffic is likely to be disrupted as unions claim that employers are not offering a satisfactory wage increase. In response, the employers will implement a general lock out, to start at 5 p.m. on Thursday. The strike is expected to shut down 80% of domestic and international freight traffic.
