The business federation of Norway has criticised the government for failing to invest in the state railway’s primary rail cargo hub in Alnabru, Oslo.  The business leaders say that facilities need to be up graded to include electronic freight handling systems and tracking, otherwise the hub may have to close by 2018.

50 freight trains a day on average pass through Alnabru terminal every day.
