A freight train carrying coal de-railed in the suburbs of Chicago last week as the bridge over which it was running collapsed.  No one was hurt, but the authorities are investigating the causes of the derailment. Teams were checking out the mechanical equipment on the train as well as the bridge and the tracks.

A new bridge will have to be designed and built, which will take some time.
