Twenty-five containers of vehicles on freight trains Chongqing Municipality in southwest China last week and headed for the Philippines.

The export shipment signifies the start of a mregular freight service for finished vehicles on the land-sea freight route. This is a section of the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor, a trade and logistics passage jointly built some of the Chinese provincial regions and Singapore.

The export shipment of China-made vehicles is scheduled to arrive at the Beibu Gulf in Guangxi. It will then be shipped by sea. The whole route takes about 10 days, approximately 30 fewer than river-sea transport.
