The International Freight Week exhibition, which was due to take place in Abu Dhabi from 18 -20 October 2009 has been cancelled. The organisers state that due to the economic downturn there have been unprecedented pressure on the transport and logistics industries, with the result that many of them cannot devote the time and resources required to taking part in a major exhibition. However, a Management Forum for the International Transport Industry will take place in Dubai from 18 – 22 October.
