Due to adverse weather conditions since the beginning of January 2008 there has been delays of as much as four days to the arrival of freight vessels at UK ports which has in turn led to the late departure of scheduled sailings for international export freight movements. This has been particularily acute at the UK east coast port of Felixstowe (FXT).
