Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko on May 21 signed a bill to simplify rules for car imports into Ukraine, abolishing the verification of conformity of vehicles with environmental standards at border crossing points.
This eliminates the need to submit environmental certificates for car imports at border crossing points and during state registration. But a certificate must still be provided at the internal customs.
