China rail freight volume on the increase

Rail freight in China rose in January by 9.4 percent volume from the previous year to 339.6 million tonnes, the National Bureau of Statistics said.

Rail freight volume in December fell by 3.8 percent from the previous year, marking the first decline since July 2016.
