Confidence is high in the freight forwarding industry, after a good September. Respondents to Danske Bank’s European Freight Forwarding Index are still expecting volumes to improve for the rest of the year; Danske Bank commented that the ‘freight index continues to show strength in the European market with no signs of a double-dip recession.’  The prediction is that the freight market in Europe remains robust and the outlook for the rest of the year is also strong.
