Imports from and exports to India are increasing at such a rate that the air freight industry is struggling to supply enough capacity.  Leading freight operators are complaining that their requrements cannot be met, and there is a similar problem in Bangladesh.  Airports Authority of India expect 10% annual growth in international cargo traffic in the five years from 2010 to 2015.  The export boom from India is mainly in pharmaceuticals, telecoms, automotive parts and foods, while imports are mainly personal items and household goods.
