A conference taking place tomorrow will be awarding a prize to the company which has done the most to reduce vehicle emissions for road freight vehicles. the Low Carbon Vehicle Partnership Annual Conference is in its seventh year, and this year the Transport Minister Norman Baker will deliver this government’s first major speech on low carbon transport. There will also be a major announcement on plans for low carbon heavy goods vehicles. The Road Freight award will be given to the company or organisation which has most positively influenced the manufacture of low carbon commercial vehicles, or operation of a low carbon freight fleet.
