A wave of strikes through Norway is not showing any signs of stopping, although negotiations have been carrying on continuously.  Cargo terminal workers began a strike during the weekend of May 21, but only the Oslo area was initially affected.  However, the strike spread gradually as freight and warehouse workers walked off the job, in protest about conditions for substitute and temporary employees.  The state wine and liquor retailer was among those not receiving their cargo.
