As Far Eastern carriers have been unable to ship freight to Europe due to the Icelandic ash cloud, shippers are having to take cargo back into their warehouses until the situation improves.  The main carrier in Singapore has cancelled all freighter services to and from Europe, and are not taking new bookings.  Some carriers in China have also stopped taking bookings as warehouses are full and flights have been grounded. The main kinds of freight affected by the situation are perishables and pharmaceuticals.
